Private text and file relay

Encrypt what matters. Verify every exchange.

CRIV is a privacy-first relay for encrypted text, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images, PDFs, and more. Register with only an email and password, keep your contacts under aliases, and activate sending with Bitcoin after a seven-day free trial.

0.0025 BTC / year Activation after one confirmation when the free trial ends.
Receiver-friendly Paid access is required for sending. Receiving and decrypting can remain open.
Private sign-up Email and password only. No names or extra profile data.
What CRIV covers

Built for private clients and low-friction delivery

Tx

Encrypted text relay

Compose, encrypt, and route messages to saved contacts. Receivers can open the ciphertext in the CRIV web app or PWA and decrypt it there.

Fx

File encryption for nearly any format

Support is planned for DOC, XLS, CSV, PDF, PPT, images, and most other common business files using the same private relay model.

Ad

Alias-based address book

Store an email address, WhatsApp number, encryption key, and a contact alias. No legal names are required anywhere in the client experience.

B1

BTC-only activation

Accounts begin with a seven-day trial. When the trial ends, a payment of 0.0025 BTC per year is required, with one confirmation for activation.

Rx

Receiver access without a paid seat

Sending requires an active paid account. Receiving and decrypting can remain available through the website or PWA without forcing every recipient into a subscription.

Dd

Delete all files after decryption

Once a recipient decrypts a file, both the encrypted and decrypted server-side files should be deleted. No files are retained on the server after decryption completes.

How it works

One contact book. Two delivery paths. Minimal identity.

1

Create a private account

Register with only email and password. No personal profile fields are required.

2

Add a contact alias

Save an alias, an email address, an optional WhatsApp number, and the contact key.

3

Encrypt text or files

Send by email or WhatsApp when those channels exist in the address book. Sending is paid-only.

4

Decrypt from the web or PWA

Receivers open the encrypted payload in CRIV and decrypt it there, even without a paid account.

Pricing

Simple BTC billing

Paid access is required only for the sender account. Trial access gives each client seven days before yearly billing begins.

Privacy baseline

Private by policy and by product shape

CRIV is set up as an installable client for private exchange, not a social platform. The registration flow requests only the minimum credentials required to manage a private account.

  • No name field in registration
  • Email and password only
  • Contact aliases can be fictional
  • Receiver workflows can remain account-light
  • All server-side file copies should be deleted after decryption
